This unusual bed has the appearance, size and technical characteristics of a normal high-end bed. The real innovation is in the living philosophy underlying the project. Before Open Space, the bedroom and especially all the square metres occupied by the bed were just used for sleeping. This system makes it possible to use bedroom space in a very flexible way. All of this without compromising on sleep comfort or the attractiveness of product.
Open Space, exposed in Salone del Mobile in Milan 2011, was selected and awarded with the title "Interior Innovation Award Winner 2012" and "Red Dot Design Awards 2013.
This product was exhibited in the special exhibition set up during the IMM Fair in Cologne, Germany, from 16 to 22 January 2012.
In the 2002 German Design Council thought up the important "Interior Innovation Award" competition. In this event the panel of judges assigns one of the most prestigious awards in the furniture sector in the world: the Interior Innovation Awards.
